A leftover stump is more than ugly — in Florida it becomes a termite nursery, a sprinkler-blade killer, and a tripping hazard the first time someone mows over it. Grinding it out below grade gives you back usable yard space and ends the problem permanently.

What it costs & how we keep it safe
Stump grinding is priced by diameter measured at ground level, plus access difficulty. A single 18-inch stump in an open backyard is straightforward; a 40-inch oak in a tight courtyard is a different conversation. Bundling grinding with a removal we're already doing earns a meaningful discount. We always call 811 before grinding to mark buried utilities — gas, electric, irrigation, and fiber. Our operators are trained on root flare anatomy so we don't over-grind into structural roots of nearby keeper trees. Fully licensed and insured.
